Have to totally disagree with Steve, been twice now and i'm looking forward to more visits. The staff are very friendly, never had poor service, the food is delicious (try the nehari lamb!), overall a much more pleasant and authentic feeling experience that the shoddy Ackbars it is opposite!

Expensive considering the average sized portions and the poor service. Had to ask for plates and go to the bar for our drinks.

As soon as we had our sweets and finished our drinks we were told to go and pay at the bar by the miserable waiter.

I would'nt recomend this place to anyone who likes to relax and take their time, all they seemed to be interested in was getting customers in and out as quickly as possible.

Very poor!

Shabab Restaurant in Huddersfield - Very poor, quality of service and food has gone down in recent months with food being served cold and congealed and the staff looking uninterested and stressed. Very few waiting staff on at peak times.

Until this year this restaurant could be relied upon for it's excellent quality of food and the friendliness and competence of the staff but this is no longer the case.

A most disappointing turn of events and they have lost a loyal and regular customer in me.
