I am distressed to hear your comments on my favourite restaurant, I myself have favoured the Bon Viveur for a number of years and are happy to see the owners have found theirselves a wonderful replacement for the previous owner chef.I understand they have had a few problems in the transitional period but have definateley got it right now. as for the occasional music evenings my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a sax evening last friday, it made a wonderful atmosphere. May I suggest you need to wake up to the present day and stop living in yesteryears, times change for most people.

The restaurant has really gone down-hill since the original owner Yogi Stoiber-Lipp retired.
The food is amicable:
The french cuisine this restaurant was once famous for has been tarnished with a very "english pub" theme.
Music Nights have been introduced which is rather ashame, it spoils the nice atmposhphere the restaurant upstairs once had, great saxophones droning in your ear while you try to eat really isnt pleasant or infact "french".
Granted i may be being a little harsh as i was once a great customer of the old Bon.
Overall 4/10.
