Sam's Chop House

Booked our table on the strength of menu downloaded from google. When arrived completely different menu and were told by the Manager it was the Manchester branch menu. Specifically said Leeds on the top of it. As it was our daughter's birthday and she had chosen the venue we stayed. Service was excellent as was the food until the cheese course!! Served with Rich Tea biscuits and bread. The plate's presentation was good but very little cheese for £8.95. We sent it back asking for a better selection of biscuits and no bread. It returned with 2 extra Rich Tea biscuits and 2 sweet digestive. Needless to say we refused it again. We spent a lot of money last night and were looking forward to sharing a nice cheese board to finish our wine and the evening off.

My partner & I went to Sam's Chop House last weekend, and absolutely loved it! The food was absolutely amazing, and very good price too. They have a set menu on 2 courses £13.95 or 3 courses £16.95 with a lot to choose from, and a free glass of house wine... or you can just pick what you want from the main menu - all again very good prices.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone - I'm going back there again tonight!

We visited this venue on Good Friday and it was busy. We were with friends who had not been previously. We have been on several occasions but this time we went for 'The Times' offer. As usual the food and service were of a high standard. Our guests were suitably impressed with the building, ambience and equally the food.

For quality and value it cannot be beaten.

I I have to admit that whilst I had heard of Sam's Chop House I had never been here to eat or drink before, so when my sister suggested it I thought it would make a nice change. we dined on Sunday and had a two course lunch for £14.95 which was very reasonable as the portions were of a good size and the food was lovely. It was topped off by the fact that there was a live jazz trio who were excellent and played throughout the lunch. I would definately recommend it to anyone and will be going back.
